Public health, working life and rehabilitation
The research group Public health, working life and rehabilitation aims to develop knowledge about determinants of ill health, primarily for common diseases. The group has a special focus on studies on an equal and inclusive working life and studies on rehabilitation in ill health.
We conduct research on cancer rehabilitation with a focus on physical activity and research on the effects of vocational rehabilitation. We also have ongoing research projects on working life and health for women at the beginning of their working life, for individuals with mental illness and for older people in the labor market. Other ongoing research projects focus on health-related living conditions for individuals with cognitive and intellectual disabilities. Other interests in the group relate to research in psychiatric, cardiovascular and reproductive epidemiology.
