Sexual and gender-based harassment at work can lead to an increased risk of treatment with antidepressants or anti-anxiety drugs.


Recently, the article Sexual and gender harassment and use of psychotropic medication among Swedish workers: a prospective cohort study was published in the journal Occupational and Environmental Medicine. The study was conducted by Katrina Blindow, Johan Paulin and Anna Nyberg at Uppsala University in collaboration with researchers from Karolinska Institute and Stockholm University.
